Can I buy more than one portion?
Yes. There is no limit. We would rather it in your house than ours.

Will the products come with instructions?
Yes. These are not factory seconds. We are guaranteeing you $10,000 of retail-ready products, packaged with bags and DVDs and certificates of authenticity. You will most likely get more and we may throw in some extra stuff that is not packaged or other random Creative Magic stuff we want to unload as well.

How much is shipping?
If you pre-pay for the whole portion shipping is free in the US and $400 overseas.
Shipping is $10 a month ($30 a package) in the US
Shipping is $25 a month ($75 a package) outside the US
Shipping to Canada is $15 a month ($45 a package)
And yes, we figure shipping will be more than this, but we will cover the rest.

How many portions are you selling?
We are honestly not entirely sure. But, we figure we will sell about 75 to 100. We will need to do an inspection of the products we have the least of to determine the final number, so after 75 we will start putting people on our stand-by list.

Will you disclose how many portions you end up selling?
We don't plan on saying exactly how many portions there where when it’s all over. It feels kinda like asking an old lady how long she has been overweight… No seriously, we just feel like that is a personal question like asking a magician how much they made for a gig, and inevitably when they answer it comes across as bragging.

Will each portion be the exact same?
Yes and no. We will do our best to keep the values relatively the same but because we are shipping out EVERYTHING we have there is no way they will be the exact same. Everyone is guaranteed one of everything and at least $10,000, probably more. So one person might get one Shadow Tent and 2 B Screens and another person would get 2 Shadow Tents and only 1 B Screen.

Will a portion come with BRUISED?
Probably not. It will depend on the final agreement with whoever takes BRUISED over. So plan on it not.

What will happen to BRUISED?
Because BRUISED is a consumable product, we wanted to make sure our customers could keep getting them once we are long gone. We are negotiating with a few different manufacturers to see who will give it the best home.

Can I have my portion shipped to different addresses?
Nope. OK, you can if you move of course, but what you can’t do is split up shipments if you are sharing a portion with friends. Someone has to be the designated receiver.

Can I pay with check/PayPal/credit card?
Yes. If you pay the full amount upfront, you can use PayPal, a check, or even a money order. If you are doing a payment plan, we would prefer PayPal or a credit card because we have systems for that but we can definitely work with you if you want to pay with checks.

My club or group of friends is buying a portion so we are each putting some on our different credit cards. Can each member contact you with their payment info to pay off our portion?
Yes, as long as you are doing the full payment upfront option. But we would much prefer you designate one person to make the payment with a card or have everyone write a check and mail them in all together so we avoid any confusion as to whose payments are for what portions.

Why can’t you just ship everything right away?
There are many reasons but most of it is answered in the next question. We need to do a thorough inventory and inspection of each item and we need to distribute everything evenly.

Why the 24 months? Isn’t that a lot of work for you?
This is a lot of work no matter how you slice it because all the products have to be inspected and packaged. When we did our 24 hour sale two years ago, we were packaging and shipping for nearly 5 months trying to get everything out – it was madness. Rather than put ourselves through what would inevitably be even worse and have people have to wait 6 months or more for the entire order, we decided to spread it out on purpose. This allows us to focus on just one or two products each shipment. We can spread out the work of packaging and inspecting and make sure the products are distributed evenly and everyone gets at least one of each. The main thing is we won’t have to put Teach By Magic on hold for months on end. July is packed with teacher conferences and so is October. During those months we can take a break from packaging. This is by far the best way to do it for us. And we think it is a fun way to do it for you, too, and it allows us to do the payment options as well.

Does buying a portion come with any satisfaction guarantee?
We have always prided ourselves on customer service and wanted our customers to be happy with every purchase. Because of the nature of this deal, offering refunds or returns is just not an option. If you request a replacement, we won’t have anything to replace it with – it’s all gone. Our plan is to give you sooo much stuff that if one of the several Victory Cubes you receive ends up breaking on your third show, you will have plenty of others (it is worth mentioning that in our five years of selling Victory Cubes, and having sold over 600 of them, we have only heard of one breaking).

How do I know you won’t just sell the manufacturing rights to someone else after you ship everything?
You have our word.

What happens if I stop making payments for any reason?
We will stop shipping you your boxes. You will have 45 days to get caught up and after that we will divide your portion up among all the other portion holders or move down the waiting list of people hoping to inherit orphan portions.

Can I request certain colors of Flip Switches or B Screens?
Nope. If we let you, then we would have to let everyone and then who would take the lime green B Screens? Just kidding. All of the B Screens and Flip Switches are blue, red, or silver. We can’t take requests, but we will do our best to avoid giving you two of the product in the same color.

Can I request more of a certain illusion or that I get a particular illusion first?
Sorry. We won’t be able to take any special requests. The whole concept here is to simplify the process and use systems. We will basically be tackling one major illusion in each shipment and then sprinkle the small stuff throughout.

Can I use your Facebook page to find other people to share a portion with?

Yes, please do. We figured people would do this. It is one reason we thought it would be fun to have people share what is on their wish list.

I really just want one thing; can you help me find a shop that has it?
The small stuff you should be able to find (at least for a few days ?). Unfortunately, most shops did not inventory our illusions; they would drop ship them. So the odds are way against you finding one. Your best bet is Tannen’s or Steven’s.
